Our congratulations to SSG ASHRY AWYONG for successfully completed the Airborne Course held from 4 Jun at 0730 hrs to 2 July 09 and awarded the SAF Airborne Wing. SSG ASHRY was also awarded the BEST COURSE TRAINEE. Well done, Ashry!
The Basic Airborne Course is open to all NCC Cadet Officers and Cadets to offer them a more interesting, adventurous and challenging type of training. Interested NCC Officers (male and female) who are physically fit may also apply for the course, subject to availability of vacancies.
The Basic Airborne Course was conducted over a grueling one month periood, inclusive of preparatory ground training and parachute descent. The Course was conducted at Parachute Wing (PW), Special Operations Tactical Support Centre, Hendon Camp, Changi.
