For Part A only:
1. Part A C130 Familiarisation Flight @ Paya Lebar Air Base- 3rd September 2008, 0900hr-1500hr (ALL)
For Part B only:
1.Civil Defence Course- 3rd September 2008, 0900hr to 1800hr (4 selected cadets)
For Part C only:
1. Senior Specialist Course- 4th September 2008 to 6th September 2008 (5 selected cadets only)
For Part B and C:
1. Aeromodelling Training- 1st September 2008, 1500hr to 1700hr (Participants for Air Competition and selected Part B cadets)
SENIOR SPECIALIST COURSE 2008
HQ NCC will be conducting the Senior Specialist Course from the 4th – 6th Sep 08 at NCC Campus, Amoy Quee Camp. The course duration is two and a half days. The aim of this course is to allow the Cadets to enhance their instructional abilities in organizing; conducting and executing some form of parades and activities in their School Units.
This is a residential two and a half days course. All meals will be catered and Cadets are reminded to consume their meals.
Upon completion, the Cadets will be appointed as Unit Drill Instructors in their respective schools where they will be able to impart the knowledge and skills acquired during the course to their juniors and subordinates.
The Course Commander will be responsible for the smooth running of the course. All Cadets come under the direct command of the Course Commander. Cadets are reminded that discipline is the order of the day. Any unruly behavior during the course would be dealt with seriously.
Cadets are reminded to bring the following items when reporting for the course:
a. Camouflage Uniform x 2
b. No 3 Uniform (for the girls and Air Cadets)
c. Toiletries and slippers
d. Writing Materials
e. Student Pass for drawing of rifles
f. Medicine (optional)
g. Tights / Hair Nets – Girls
h. Lesson plan
i. 1 color photograph for assessment purposes
j. T-shirts and shorts
k. Towel
l. Padlock and key
m. PT shoes
Cadets are reminded NOT to bring along any valuables or expensive items during the course. HQ NCC would not be held responsible for any lost or stolen items during the course. Participants are strictly not allowed to bring in any cameras, camera handphones or media capturing devices when entering NCC Campus.
