NEGC TRAINING DAY

Introduction In Mar 2010, MINDEF/Nexus will stage the inaugural NE Gaming Championship (NEGC) for schools as part of efforts to engage our students on the issues of Defence and National Service. The game platform used for the championship will be based on the realistic first person shooter training simulation software, Virtual Battlespace 2 (VBS2) that the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) is using as a training tool. This is an exciting new platform and Nexus hopes that through playing the game and participating in the NEGC, our students will better understand the SAF and learn more about the Army's capabilities and training systems.

Training Sessions 19 Part B cadets have been selected for the NEGC.

With exception to the first training, all Part B cadets involved can only leave their classes at 1PM on these training days and to make their own way to the venue indicated below for the NEGC training. The training session will start at 2pm and end at 5pm.
