NCC ORIENTEERING COMPETITION 2008

HQ NCC will be organizing the 28th Annual NCC Orienteering Competition 2008 at NCC Campus on 21 August 2008 from 1230 hrs to 1800 hrs. The objective of the competition is to foster a competitive spirit and outdoor adventure in a neutral environment for the cadets. It also serves to evaluate the map reading skills and the physical fitness of the NCC cadets. RULES & REGULATIONS 1. There are 2 categories in this competition i.e Boys’ category and Girls’ category. Mixed Units participation will be in the Boys’ category. 2. Each school unit is allowed to submit 1 team of 4 cadets with 1 cadet as a reserve (Total 5 Cadets). The team will be entered for the competition in a Group (Route) to be determined by the organiser. Teams arriving after 1400 hrs will not be allowed to participate in the Orienteering Competition.
