VISIT TO FLIGHT SIMULATOR CENTRE AT PAYA LEBAR AIR BASE

The visit to Paya Lebar Air Base Flight Simulator Centre includes hands-on experiences. This visit is organised for selected Part D cadets, to give them an insightful experience in a fixed wing cockpit. Cadets would get to experience combat flying in the simulators. The aim of this visit is to provide cadets with opportunities to further develop their interest in flying so that they may consider pursuing a flying career with the Republic of Singapore Air Force as a viable option. Date: Thursday, 05th March 2009 Attire: NO.3 Uniform with beret Cadets involved: 2SG AMIRUR, 2SG FAHMI, 2SG MURALI, 3SG MANISH, 1SG LAI XING LAI Time: >1220hr - Fall-out of class for lunch. >1245hr – Fall-in outside General Office for attendance taking and proceed to make your way to Paya Lebar Air Base. >1330hr - Report to the Teacher Duty Officer at the guard rooms of Paya Lebar Air Base. The Officers will be there to escort the group throughout the whole visit. The visit would end at about 1730 hours. NOTE: Cameras and computers/electronic devices with record and photo-taking capabilities (e.g. Palm Top, some new versions of handphones) are NOT allowed to brought into the Air Base.
