HQ NCC with be conducting the 3rd Freestyle Drill Course at NCC Campus. The non – residential course would be from 23rd to 26th Nov 2009.
PRE – COURSE BRIEFING:
Sergeant Major NCC will be conducting a pre course briefing on 17 Nov 09, 1530 hr at the NCC Campus, Multi Purpose Hall. Participants are to be attired in school uniform or no.4 uniform for the pre course brief.
Venue & Reporting:
Location: NCC Campus, Multi Purpose Hall
Timing: Daily at 0800 hr (Report to 3SG Ivan Ng at the MPH for attendance taking. )
Attire: No. 4 uniform and bring along a school or NCC T shirt for training purposes.
TRANSPORTATION
Ferry Service will be provided from Yio Chu Kang MRT station to NCC Campus and vice versa on the first and last day of the course at the following timings:
Morning: 0700 to 0800 hr
Evening: 1730 to 1830 hr
PERSONAL CONDUCT
Participants are expected to display an acceptable standard of conduct, bearing and discipline throughout the course. Participants are expected to have a decent hair-cut for the course.
This course would definitely benefit the Cadets as they would be able to choreograph the drill movements and promote creativity to make drill fun but yet challenging.

NCC FITNESS PROGRAMME 2009

INTRODUCTION
Senior NCC Cadets are tasked to conduct fitness training in their School Units for their junior cadets. There is a need to bridge the information gap so that NCC Cadets would be able to derive maximum benefits from the fitness training without any adverse effects.
The NCC Fitness Programme will be a residential programme conducted by instructors from the SAF Army Fitness Centre and Trainers from NCC Training Cadre from 24 to 25 Nov 09 in NCC Campus, Amoy Quee Camp.
PROGRAMME
The 2-day NCC Fitness Training Programme will provide participants with the knowledge and confidence to conduct fitness training lessons effectively, safely and with fun-element for a small-size class.
Evaluation Component: All participants must pass the Theory Test and able to perform satisfactorily in all the Fitness activities during the practical sessions.
Method of Instruction. There would be a combination of theory and practical lessons so that the participants would be able to experience the fitness training activities advocated in the programme. The Training Programme is shown in Annex A.
ADMINSTRATIVE AND LOGISTICS MATTERS
Reporting Attire, Date, Time and Venue: All Participants are to report in No 4 Uniform on 24 Nov 09 at 0815 hrs to the NCC Campus Accommodation Blk 246. The respective District Specialists are to record the attendance of their cadets and hand over the cadets to the Conducting Officer. Participants who are late may be considered out of course.
Personal Conduct: Participants are reminded to display an acceptable standard of conduct, bearing and discipline throughout the programme. They are expected to have a decent haircut. Participants who do not meet the required standards will have to get their hair cut to pass the course.
Accommodation: Accommodation will be provided for all participants during the programme.
Medical Issues: Part B Cadets who are on prevailing medical conditions are strongly advised not to attend the programme.
Camp Security: Cameras, camera handphones or any image capturing device is strictly prohibited in the Camp premises.
Meals: All Cadets are to consume their breakfast before coming for the programme. Thereafter all meals will be provided till end of the programme.
Personal Kit List: A list of personal items required for the programme is given below. Cadets are advised not to bring valuables to the Camp. HQ NCC will not be responsible for any items lost during the camp.

Fitness training that is effective, safe and yet fun would help to develop a fitness culture amongst the cadets, so that they would continue to exercise and lead a healthy lifestyle.

NCC BEACH AND PARKS CLEANING 2009 EXERCISE
Cadets Involved: ALL PART A
Senior Spec Involved: SSG Avion Lim
1. The NCC Island-wide Beach and Park Cleaning Day 2009 will be held on Monday, 02 November 2009 from 1500 hrs to 1700 hrs at 5 different locations simultaneously. The Guest-of-Honour for each location will be the District Commanders.
2. The 5 Districts will be cleaning their respective parks as part of the NCC Beach and Park Cleaning Day 2009. The locations assigned are:
Bukit Batok Nature Park- West
Sembawang Park- Central
Upper Seletar Reservoir- Sea
Punggol Park- Air
East Coast Park - East
3. The teams will be led by the respective District Commanders and assisted by the District Training Officers and Specialists. 1000 cadets and NCC officers will be mobilised for the activity.
4. 250 Cadets from Part A will be drawn from school units in the respective Districts.
Cadets from each school unit will be wearing their School T-shirt and School PT shorts and shoes. They will be accompanied by 1 teacher officer and 1 Senior Specialist (to ensure appropriate teacher-student ratio).
5. Units are required to report by 1430 hrs at the Form Up Point (FUP) where they will be issued a pair of plastic gloves, 1 trash bag (per pair) and one bottle of water. Cadets will be divided into groups and assigned an area to clean under the supervision of a teacher officer from their school units.
6. On completion of the activity all cadets will proceed to the FUP where there will be
a photo taking session followed by the disposal of trash bags.
7. The sequence of the event will be as follows:
1430 to 1530 hrs - Reporting of cadets & Safety Briefing
1530 hrs - GOH to arrive
1535 hrs - Speech by GOH
1540 hrs - Commencement of Beach/Park Cleaning Activity
1640 hrs - Cadets return/photo taking
1700 hrs - End of Activity

RSAF ATTACHMENT TO SBAB - 09 November 2009 to 11 November 2009
Under the RSAF/NCC (Air) Affiliation Scheme, the NCC (Air) attachment to RSAF Programme is carried out annually in Sembawang Air Base for Part C Cadets.
This year the programme is scheduled for Monday 09 November 2009 to Wednesday 11 November 2009 whereby about 120 NCC (Air) cadets/officers will be attached to Sembawang Air Base for 3 days.
Chung Cheng High Yishun is required to send 7 cadets (must include all the 5 Senior Specialists) for this Sembawang Air Base Attachment.
The students involved are:

On 11 Nov 2009, last day of the attachment, all officers and cadets are to report to Chong Pang Camp Guard Room.
