56th Cadet Officer Course Graduation Parade

On 12th Dec 2008, I, 3SG Tan Jun Liang represented CCHY NCC Air to participate in a HQ parade, the 56th C/OFFR Course Graduation Parade as an armed escort. The selections were on 28th Nov 2008 at HQ NCC where we were tested on our turnout, bearing and confidence by RSM NCC personally. After that, I was glad to know that I was selected as the Air Armed Escort in the Colours Party. It was truly a great experience donning the NCC No.1 uniform once again and participating in a HQ parade with a prestigious appointment. The Colours Party represent the entire NCC Singapore with its main colours, namely, NCC, Land, Sea and Air. Other appointment holders in the Colours Party were also very friendly and we truly had a great time together during the rehearsals and the actual parade. Graduated from the parade are C/OFFR Neo Wei Kheng Kenny (Contingent 2 2IC) and C/OFFR Lim De Yi from our unit. I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate them for their enduring spirit during the 3 weeks and successful passing out of the course as Cadet Officers. We will give them the due respect as we continue to work hand in hand, building up CCHY NCC Air as a unit! 3SG Tan Jun Liang
