RENAMING OF SECONDARY ONE TO FOUR/FIVE CADETS

NCC celebrated her 110th Anniversary in year 2011 and we are re-branding our image with a new motto as ‘Nurturing, Committed and Cool’.
In line with the Education landscape changes taking place, NCC HQ has decided is a good time to re-name our NCC Part A, B, C & D/D1 cadets with a more ‘Cool’ name.
With effect from 1 January 2012, the following naming will take place.
Secondary One Cadets will be renamed as Junior Cadets as this is the first year of their cadet’s journey.
Secondary Two Cadets will be renamed as Senior Cadets as they are embarking in their second year of their cadets’ journey and gaining seniority as a cadet.
Secondary Three Cadets will be renamed as Cadet Leaders as this is their third year in the Corps and by now they are assigned leadership roles.
Secondary Four/Five Cadets will be renamed as Senior Cadet Leaders as they are in their fourth and fifth year with the Corps and they are assigned with the leadership roles and are now role models to the younger cadets.
